Delores E. Zachow age 77, of Junction City passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, she had fought courageously with a lengthy illness. A gathering of friends and family of Delores will take place this Saturday July 30, 2016 starting at 11:00 AM at the Junction City Lions Park Lodge. As a memorial to Delores please bring a dish to pass or a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers or a plant. Shuda Funeral Services is assisting the family. Delores was born May 3, 1939 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Emil and Anna (Mazarka) Brillowski. She graduated from the first class at PJ Jabobs High School in 1958. She worked with her mother, who was the head chef at the Silver Coach Restaurant, until moving to Milwaukee after graduation. She met her future husband William Zachow and the couple married on December 21, 1961 in Los Angeles, CA. They moved to the Stevens Point area in 1962 before relocating to Milwaukee from 1964-79. The family moved to Junction City, and William passed in 1982. Delores and her daughter moved to the Stevens Point/Plover area in 1984, until 2012 when they returned to Junction City. Delores enjoyed puzzles, bird watching and feeding, playing scrabble and cards with friends. She loved her dogs (BamBam, Pebbles, and Lucy) and cat (Sassy) like children. Most of all she loved being a Mother to all and organizing holiday meals, and cooking/feeding all of her extended family. Delores is survived by a son, William Zachow (Barbara Kawlewski), his two daughters, Melissa (Cody) Sobish, Elizabeth Zachow and his granddaughter Maryana Sobish. Two daughters, Margaret (William) Glatkowski, her two sons, William (Brandi Hatcher), Michael, and her two grandsons William and Ryan Glatkowski (children of William and Brandi). Anna Zachow and her daughter Samantha Zachow. She has also been a surrogate or adopted mom/grandma to many people, of special mention would be Jennifer Burtley and her son Jonah Woyach. She is preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles, her husband, one sister, two nieces, and many friends of the family.
