Patricia Halloran Obituary

Patricia A. Halloran’s journey ended August 27, 2016 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born March 6, 1945 in Milwaukee to the late Mathias and Margaret (McGowan) Matko. She attended Holy Assumption Grade School, graduated from West Allis Central High School, and attended the University of WI Milwaukee for two years. On October 2, 1965, she married the late Daniel Frank Halloran. To this marriage was born her beloved daughter Kim Marie. Patty enjoyed many years of employment in retail sales management. She loved her family, her wonderful dog Kennedy, her many dear friends, old time rock and roll, her prayer shawl group, crocheting, gardening, the “PACK”, and antique linens and furniture. Survivors include her daughter Kim (Major Allen) Fry of Ogden, UT; her 10 grandchildren: Colin, Zachary (Megan), Asher, Alannah, Moira, Aidan, Kieran, Brendan, Therese, and Abigeal; sister Jane Matko of West Bend, and her children: Gustave, Thomas (Suzanne), Ann (Pete) Postuma, Timothy (Shannon),Margaret, and Elizabeth; sister, Mary (Larry) Batterman of Georgia and their children: William, Matthew, and Larry Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Farber Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, 2016 beginning at 4:00 pm and concluding with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will also take place beginning at 9:30am before mass on Tuesday. After lunch, burial will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington, WI. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
