Corey Michael Luke, age 36, of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, as a result of an ATV accident. He was born on September 4, 1979, in Mauston, Wisconsin, the son of Leon Luke and Diane (Cross) Nation. Following high school, Corey graduated from MATC, Reedsburg. He was employed by Grede Foundry for many years and also worked on his own in metal fabrication. In 2011, Corey’s creative hobby/passion became his profession as he opened Villain Art Customs in Reedsburg. He had an artistic eye for detail and a perfectionistic touch. In his own words he was a "Profectionalist". He custom created everything from machining and fabricating metal to building furniture and hand painting or airbrushing amazing pieces of art on canvas, skin, motorcycles or cars. When not working he could be found riding his motorcycle with the love of his life, spending time being the most amazing Papa to his grand babies, or simply laying around with their five fur babies. Corey enjoyed being the ultimate badass and anyone that knew him would agree. Corey lived life to the fullest everyday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will leave a gigantic void in this world. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad; brother, Jason “J.P.” Peterson; step-father, Willie “Pops” Nation. Corey is survived by his Wife, Candi; Son, Stefan Luke (Jordyn Douglas); Grand Babies, Landyn and Letti Luke all of Reedsburg; Parents, Leon (Jean) Luke of New Lisbon; Diane Nation of LasVegas, NV; Sister, Jody Ashlock of Reedsburg; Nephews and Niece, Parker Luke, Nicole and Kyle Ashlock; Brothers, Jeremy Peterson (Autumn) of Cazenovia; Aaron Putnam (Barbara) of Reedsburg and Josh Bender (Heather) of Baraboo; and loyal loving companion Jupiter; along with many other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Corey Luke will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg. Burial will follow in Resting Green Cemetery, Ironton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
