Clodean Nadosy Obituary

Clodean Nadosy died peacefully at home on May 26, 2016. The daughter of Cordell and Clara (Upchurch) Wilmoth was born November 20, 1942 in Oneida, Tennessee weighing one pound. It was through the grace of God and the love of her family that she lived and grew up to be an amazing woman. The summer between her freshman and sophomore year at Indiana University, she met the love of her life while working at the local dime store. Afraid this man was married, as he was purchasing baby bottles and funnels, she refused his attempt to ask her out. Being smitten with the red head Francis went back in the store to ask her why she would not go out with him. Once she explained, Francis was quick to tell her about the research he was doing at Muscatatuck State School. The summer went quickly and off to school they were to go, but their love for each other was stronger thus they were wed January 20, 1962. Over the years, they had three children and lived in numerous places, never afraid to go wherever their journey took them. Clodean always strived to live in the name of the Lord and brought her family up with a happy heart. No matter what came her way she would always see a bright side and moved on to the next adventure. She taught her children to never hate anyone, turn the other cheek, and always say I love you to those that mattered to them. Clodean loved to cook and bake. She was famous for her cheesecake and the holiday feasts she would have for family. She expected people to dress up for holidays and special family gatherings. She believed the extra effort to dress up was being respectful to the occasion. She was the happiest when in her sewing room. When the family was young, she would sew clothes for them and herself. Easter dresses, or shirt and vest for her son were very special to them. When they were old enough she would let them help pick out the fabric for our outfits. Her greatest passion was to quilt. She had been raised with a quilt always in the frame so it was natural for her to find quilting very rewarding. She loved watching Sewing with Nancy and going to quilt shows. Fabric had a knack of calling her name thus her fabric stash would fill a small fabric shop! Clodean is survived by her husband of 54 years Francis, son Terry (Denise) Nadosy of Beloit, daughters Jeanie (Robert) Parker of Richland Center and Jodi (John) Peerenboom of Rockford, Michigan, grandchildren Issac (Karen) Nielsen of Redford, Michigan, Lydia (Joel) Xiong of Green Bay, Laura Nadosy of Spring Green, Shawn and Audrey Peerenboom of Rockford, Michigan, Cotey Stevenson and Jordan Nadosy of Beloit, great-granddaughters Ariana, Eleise, and Imilia Xiong of Green Bay, sister Opal (Bill) Huddleston of Clarksville, Indiana, cousin Janice(Gene) Young of Greenwood, Indiana, brother-in-law Alan (Dorothy) Nadosy of Golden Valley, Minnesota. A Celebration of Clodean’s Life will be held on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, Reedsburg. A special thank you to Home Health United Hospice Care and the Farber Funeral Home for their special care and attention to the family’s wishes. A limb has fallen from the family tree that says Grieve not for me Remember the BEST TIMES, the laughter, the song The good life I lived while I was STRONG.
