Carol Marie Sherman
Carol M. Sherman (nee, Costerisan), age77, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, August 10, 2016, at St. Clare Meadows Care Center, in Baraboo. She was born September 16, 1938, to Fred and Jessie (Hunt) Costerisan. Carol graduated from Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, WI, in 1956. She was united in marriage to Edwin Sherman on July 20, 1958. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Jerry and Bradley. In 1975, she graduated from Tennessee Cosmetology School. After moving to California she worked as a CNA in nursing homes for many years. In 1994, she returned to Reedsburg where she worked at the Sauk County Nursing Home and Snyder’s Nursing Home until her retirement. Carol was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her two sons, Jerry and Bradley; brothers, Freddie, Floyd and Richard; sisters, Alma and Alfreda. She is survived by her sister, Jessie Schoeder of North Carolina; Brother, Francis Costerisan of North Carolina. Along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services for Carol M. Sherman will be held at a later date. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.Obituary
