Lester Robinson, Sr., 78, of Old Mill Road Jane Lew passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 in Latrobe Hospital of Latrobe, PA following an extended illness. He was born in Wheeling, WV on November 30, 1937: son of the late Clarence Robinson and Adely (Garrison) Robinson. Mr. Robinson was married to Betty Mae (King) Robinson , who preceded him in death in 1993. Mr. Robinson is survived by one daughter: Marinda Skinner of Jane Lew, two sons: Hayward “Bucky” Robinson of Stephen City, VA and Lester Robinson, Jr. of Jane Lew and two grandchildren Morgan Paige Robinson and Sabrina Leigh Robinson. He is also survived by two brothers: Kenneth and Freddie Robinson, one sister: Emily Garrison and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Robinson was a timberman with Robinson’s Saw Mill and a farmer. He also worked at the Colonial Glass Factory of Weston, WV. Lester liked to gamble (Lottery) and watch birds. He loved his dog, Max, family dinners and especially spending quality time with his two granddaughters: Morgan and Sabrina. Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Michael Riffle officiating.
