Byron Miller

Byron Wayne Miller, 73, of Jane Lew passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio following a sudden illness. He was born in Parkersburg on July 6, 1943: son of the late Bill E. Miller and Doris Peggy (Coleman) Miller. On March 21, 1964, he married Judith Eileen (Daugherty) Miller, who preceded him in death on April 19, 2011. Mr. Miller is survived by three daughters: Pamela K. Thompson and husband Tab of Little Hocking, OH, Paula J. Smarr and husband Jay of Linn and Tonya S. Moran and husband John of Weston and one son: Eric W. Miller of Coolville, OH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Cassandra Thompson, Brittany Butcher, Kelly Lowther, Lindsey Smarr, Tyler Miller, Joe Moran, Adam Moran, David Moran and Megan Moran and one great grandchild: Jayce Butcher. Also surviving is one brother: Gary Miller, four sisters: Linda Weeks, Debby Menders, Lisa R. Favreau and Cheryl Brannon and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller was the territory manager for Priefert Ranch Equipment. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. Byron was a member of the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church of Jane Lew, WV. Mr. Miller was still active with his job and trade shows because he enjoyed meeting and talking to people. If you knew him, you will miss him. Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jackie Chambers officiating.
