Donald Wilson

Donald R. Wilson, 78, of Farmington, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Lumberport, November 25, 1937, a son of the late Willie Earl and Alice Virginia Martin Wilson. Surviving are one brother, Earl Howard Wilson, Farmington, one sister, Phyllis Irene Ellison and her husband Bill, Elizabethtown, KY, nieces and nephews, Earl Howard Wilson, Jr. and his wife Doris, Tammy Bock and her husband Billy, Ann Frances Rapier and her husband Anthony, Christina Olcott, and one aunt, Loraine Basnett, Idamay. He was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Ann Wilson in infancy. Donald was a veteran having served with the United States Navy. He was a salesman and bookkeeper having worked for Alasky's Furniture in Farmington and Hundred Auto. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Teverbaugh United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Thursday where funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, May 6, with Pastor Dan Blake officiating. Interment will be in the Lions Club Cemetery at Lumberport, where full military honors will be accorded. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care Corporation, P.O.
