Ross Edgar Ingold, 86, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. Ross was born February 27, 1930 in New Martinsville, WV, son of the late George F. and Reva I. (Villers) Ingold. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Riverside Services in New Martinsville, a U.S. Army veteran, member of American Legion Marne Post #28, loved to make his children’s pets his by taking them and member of the Lighthouse Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Smith) Ingold and three sisters, Twyla Roberts, Wanda Stillwagoner and Betty Cook and a special friend, Annabelle Morgan. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Ingold of Shirley, WV and Ross Ingold of New Martinsville, WV; two daughters, Carol (Gary) Young of New Martinsville, WV and Dorothy (Russ) Masters of Belmont, WV; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren with the third one due in January 2017 and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., where service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 with Mike Shank officiating. Interment in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV. Honor Guard will conduct graveside services. Memorial contributions may be made, in Ross’ name, to Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center,1 Medical Center Dr., Clarksburg, WV 26301.
