Nicole Ellen Schoolcraft, 23, of New Martinsville, WV passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Pittsburgh, PA. Nicole was born July 24, 1993 in Solna, Sweden, daughter of Minna (Brannstrom) Emch and Parnell (Therese) Schoolcraft both of New Martinsville, WV. She was a graduate of Magnolia High School Class of 2011; while at Magnolia she played soccer and was in the band all four years, she like to read and loved animals and a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Tomas Emch and Nicholas Racer both of New Martinsville, WV; grandparents, Oili Brannstrom and Victor Brannstrom, Arnold and Mary Lou Schoolcraft of Sistersville, WV and Patricia Racer of New Martinsville, WV and several aunts, uncles and cousins. All friends and family are encouraged to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, New Martinsville, with Rev. Sravan Kumar Reddimasu as celebrant. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorial contributions be made, in Nicole’s name, to Recovery Point WV, 2425 Ninth Ave., Huntington, WV 25703.
