Ruby Ann Treadway, 85 of Oak Hill, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Hilltop Center following an extended illness. Born on October 22, 1930 in Akron, OH to the late Clarence Edwine Akers and Mary Jane Presnell. Ms. Treadway was a homemaker and attended the Jones Avenue Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Treadway and a son, Wyatt Treadway. Those surviving include her children, Elizabeth Secrest, Richard Secrest, Cheryl Lakota, and Janet Cunningham; 11 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Services for Ms. Treadway will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Pat Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park also in Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
