Michael Elmore

Michael Anthony Elmore, 29 of Minden, was taken from this world on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Harrisonburg, VA, following an unfortunate event. Michael was a jack of all trades and never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He will be missed by everyone especially the ladies of Oak Hill and surrounding counties. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Billie Jean Elmore, Autumn, and Emily of Oak Hill and Bentley Elmore of Oak Hill; the mother of his children, Patty Schrader of Oak Hill. mother, Billie Remy and companion Charles Bragg of Harrisonburg, VA; father and step-mother, Edward Elmore, Jr and Christina Coleman of Minden; sister/mother, Jeannie "Wee Wee" Elmore and husband Sean Dotson of Minden; brothers, Edward "Roscoe" Elmore III and wife Megan Elmore of Minden and William Elmore of Minden; another step-mother, Dionne Ragsdale of FL; grandmother, Veronica Elmore of Oak Hill; nieces of Minden, Taylor Marie, Brandy Nicole, Ruby Rose, Brooklyn Mae; nephew who had a special place in Michael's heart, Michael Edward Elmore and a niece Lindsey LeeAnn Elmore of Minden; and a host of cousins. Services for Michael will be conducted at 11am Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Henry Hudson officiating. Interment to follow at High Lawn Memorial Park also in Oak Hill. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at High Lawn from 6-9pm.
