Billie Blevins

Billie Roger Blevins, 62, of Oak Hill, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at his residence of natural causes. Born October 25, 1947, in Pikeville KY, he was the son of the late Billie and Mae Blevins. Mr. Blevins had been a resident of Fayette County most of his life. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and two younger brothers, Roy Blevins and Bobby Blevins, Sr. Survivors include his wife Juanita Katherine Blevins of Oak Hill; son Billie Forest Blevins and wife Suzan of Oak Hill, daughter Brianna Blevins of Oak Hill; step-daughter Brittney Dempsey of Oak Hill; step-son Bradley Dempsey of Beckley; two sisters Carol Perry and husband Fred of Fayetteville and Teresa Benson of Rocklick; five nephews Bobby Blevins of Lynchburg VA, Aric Treadway of Panama City Beach FL, Scott Blevins of Lynchburg VA, Fred Perry II of Fayetteville and Josh Perry of Fayetteville; great niece Ashley Blevins of Atlanta GA; and granddaughter Savannah Blevins of Oak Hill. His remains rest at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1435 East Main Street, Oak Hill, where the funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday(Today), with Pastor Mike Kees officiating and where the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of service.
