Phyllis Naomi Hardy age 75 of Smithers died April 4, 2016. She was born February 13, 1941 in Longacre and she was daughter of the late James and Josephine Harper Mimms. She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lee Hardy Sr., her daughter Francine Hardy, her brother Billy Joe Mimms and sister Eva Faye Mimms. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Smithers for over 30 years. Surviving: children Deneen Obey of Smithers and Thomas Lee Hardy Jr. of Smithers; sisters Kathleen Edmonds of Smithers, Connie Marshall of San Antonio, TX, Jenny Robertson of Columbus, OH, Donna Rae Scott of Springfield, VA. and Joyce Godfrey of Cross Lanes; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Brother Jim Balser officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Haven Memorial Park in Ingram Branch.
