Ruth Fiddler

Ruth Virginia Fiddler, 97, of Clearbrook, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her residence. Born December 10, 1918 in Jefferson County, WV she was the daughter of the late Daniel Anderson Siford, Sr. and Dora Rogers Siford. She had worked at Knouse Foods until she was 90 years old. She was a member of Rest United Methodist Church. She loved gardening and canning. She is survived by a son, Virgil Franklin (Frank) Fiddler, Jr. and wife, Linda, Robert Siford; two daughters, Patricia Ann Burkhart and husband, Tom, Brenda Kaye Bennett and husband, Berkeley; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Franklin Fiddler, Sr.; five brothers; and four great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00PM at South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Wayne Price officiating. Interment will be in Rest Cemetery.
