Robert Runkles, 77, of Hedgesville, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center. Born July 29, 1939 in Delray, WV he was the son of the late Herbert E. and Ethel Nathalea Lee Runkles. He was retired from the 167th WV Air National Guard in Martinsburg as a technician/mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Donna Keefer Runkles; three brothers, Donald Runkles and wife Julia, Galen Runkles and wife, Patricia, Douglas Runkles and wife, Audrey; and one sister, Catherine Slonaker and husband, William. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Gray. Services and interment are private.July 29, 1939 - September 18, 201607/29/193909/18/2016
