Robert William Asmussen, 45, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Berkeley Medical Center. Born October 13, 1971 in Silver Spring, MD he is the son of Barbara Jean Sandrus Strand and husband, Arnie Strand of Columbia, MD and Robert James Asmussen and wife, Kathy Asmussen of Lewes, DE. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Michelle Schmidt Asmussen; four sons, Kaleb Asmussen, Nicolas Szabo, Robert Jackson Asmussen, and Cameron Asmussen; three daughters, Hailey Renee Asmussen, Bethany Ann Dean, Christianna Dean; and three sisters, Jeannie Brauning, Amanda Jordan, and Kristen Marin. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Father Eric Hall. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
