Jerry David "Boo" Staubs, 45, of Harpers Ferry passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from injuries sustained from a construction accident in Keedysville, MD. Born June 10, 1971 in Charles Town, WV he is the son of Jerry E. Staubs and Terry Lynn Minor Staubs of Harpers Ferry, WV. Jerry was a life-long resident of Jefferson County. He was known most for always working hard and playing even harder. He loved the outdoors, his family and friends. He will be remembered always for being fearless and crazy. Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lori Timmons Staubs; one daughter, Jessica L. Staubs and boyfriend, Dustin; one sister, Christen Shenton; one brother Claude E. "Shorty" Staubs; granddaughter and the light of his life, Summer N. Staubs; grandmother, Thelma M. Griffen Staubs; nieces, Kristin and Jordan; nephew, Hunter; a number of aunts and uncles; and his very close friends that he worked with everyday. He was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Samantha Nicole Dawn Staubs; grandfather, Grafton W. Staubs and Franklin B. Minor; grandmother, Sylvia J. Rowland Minor; step-mother, Sandra Miller; brother, Gary Staubs; and cousin, Jason Hypes. Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrews Cemetery in Mannings, Jefferson County, WV.
