Gail Flickinger Balster, 68, formerly of Jarrettsville, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Reading, PA. Born December 15, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Howard R. Flickinger and Ruth Rohrbaugh Flickinger. She lived for her grandchildren, and her family was her life. She enjoyed gardening, was an amazing cook, and an animal lover. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry Balster; two daughters, Susan Dean and husband, Brian, Kristen Thompson and husband, Kevin; and three grandchildren, Sophia Dean, Bryce and Zoey Thompson. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hedgesville Cemetery.
