Ann Plummer Fitzgerald, 82 of Charles Town passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the Shenandoah Center. Born October 16, 1933 in Medford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Catherine Loretta Plummer. She was of the Catholic faith. She retired from the U S Senate after 35 years of working as an inventory manager. She is survived by one son, Brendan Fitzgerald and wife Julie of Charles Town, two daughters, Catherine Anderson and husband Ricardo and Tara Neeld and husband Brett, all of Wilmington, North Carolina, one sister, Catherine Morehouse of St. Augustine, Florida, ten grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Plummer and one sister, Patricia Burke. Services and inurnment will be private.
