Mildred Miller

Mildred Eileen (Rogers) Miller, age 95 of Broad Street, Parkersburg, WV passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 28, 1920 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Luther Forest “Johnnie” Rogers and Ada (Poe) Rogers. She is survived by two daughters, Carol S. Snell and husband Raymond, of Sardis, OH and Rebecca L. Abbott of Belpre, OH; eight grandchildren Michael (Kristy) Snell, Robin (Dan) Lyons, Randall (Donda) Snell, Barry Snell, Kelly (John) Loscar, Aaron Abbott, Rebecca Suzanne Abbott, and Adam Abbott; seven great-grandchildren, Lyndi Snell, Miranda & Joshua Snell, Andrew Lyons, Maggie Mamo, and Dresdyn and Ryett Abbott; one sister, Maxie Delaney of New Hampshire; two brothers, Marvin Rogers and David Rogers (Karen), also of Grafton; also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Earl Miller who passed away December 11, 2009; one granddaughter, Susan Carol Snell; one son-in-law, William D. Abbott; three sisters, Mara Lee Etta “Petty” Greene, Marie Keefover,and Mabel Moss; and one brother, George Rogers. Mildred was a member of the Church of Christ in Belpre, OH. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. with Evangelist David Lively officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
