Charles William “Bill” Sinsel, age 86, of Meadow Lane, Grafton, WV passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1930 in Grafton the son of the late Fred William and Lizzie May (Poe) Sinsel. Bill is survived by four children, Sharon L. (Pete) Lake of St. Albans, WV, David W (Judy) Sinsel of Grove City, OH, Judy A. (Gary) Munson of Wadestown, WV, and Chip (Roberta) Sinsel of Bridgeport, WV: five grandchildren, Bill Munson, Nick Munson, Jonathan (Sarah) Sinsel, Bobby Sinsel, and Brent Sinsel; three great grandchildren, Jocelyn Sinsel, Isaac Sinsel, and Ben Munson; and also by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Rosalie Lou Sinsel, who passed away on May 3, 2016 and one sister Kathryn Jane Brown. He was Past Master, Past Secretary, and Past Treasurer of Grafton Lodge No. 15, A.F. & A.M.; Past High Priest and Past Secretary of Copestone Chapter No. 12, Royal Arch Masons; Past Commander and Past Secretary of DeMolay Commandery No. 11, Knights Templar; Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of West Virginia and holder of the K.T.C.H. (Knights Templar Cross of Honor) from the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America; Past Patron of Naomi Chapter No. 12, Order of Eastern Star; 32° Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Clarksburg; Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Parkersburg, West Virginia; Member of Fort Henry York Rite College No. 61, Wheeling, WV; Past Prior of West Virginia Priory No. 40, K.Y.C.H.; Past Sovereign Master, Red Cross of Constantine, Mountain State Conclave, Wheeling, WV; Member of the West Virginia Masonic Rosicrucians, Martinsburg, WV; Member of the Allied Masonic Degrees No. 359, Martinsburg , WV; and Member of the Commemorative Order of St. Thomas of Acon, Mountaineer Chapel No. 11, Morgantown, WV Bill graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1947 and retired from CSX Railroad in 1991 where he worked for 40 years as a Carman. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Grafton. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Monday June 20, from 3:00 - 8:00p.m. and from 10 :00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Grafton Masonic Lodge #15 and Naomi Chapter #12 OES will conduct memorial service at 7:00p.m. Monday, June 20th p.m.at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 21st at 11.00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hanlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge #15 of Grafton, WV In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Care of Taylor County, 7 Harman Center, Grafton, WV 26354.
