Pete Hoffman, III, 58, died Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was born in
Wenatchee, WA, and resided here most of his life. He lived away when he was
serving in both the Army and the Navy, which he was honorably discharged from.
Pete loved Wenatchee and was passionate about his work and activities.
He worked at Tree Top for 26 years and was a model employee. He also umpired
softball for many years in the community. He had a love for bowling, which was
a big part of his life. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of
Eagles. He loved animals and was a huge supporter of the Wenatchee Humane
Society. During his schooling years, Pete was active in the Wenatchee High
School Band and the Youth Circus Band. Pete was an amazing person to all who
knew him and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete A. Hoffman Jr. and Christine L.
Hoffman; brother, Tony D. Hoffman; and sister, Pamela J. Hoffman. He is
survived by his fiance, Debbie Knappert; sisters: Debbie Havens, Dianne
Waterhouse, Bonnie Verzola, and Maggie Hoffman; and brother, Phillip Hoffman.
Also surviving are numerous step-brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces, nephews, and even a great-nephew.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 12:00 noon at
Calvary Crossroads Church, 1301 Maple Street, Wenatchee, WA, with military
honors and Pastor Jay Caron officiating. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel
of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
