John Livermont of Everett, WA, passed away at the age of 90 years on June 25,
2016. He was born on May 7, 1926 in South Dakota. John married Phyllis Willsey
on May 24 of 1956. They moved to Washington in 1964, and settled in East
Wenatchee, WA, where they raised their children. He retired from Eastmont
School District as a custodian/bus driver of 24 years. John and Phyllis
retired to Whatcom County, where they loved to work on his beading projects
and be close to the water. John loved being with his family and being with his
wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren filled his heart.
John is survived by his children: John (Tammi), Anita (Tracy), Lyle, Marv
(Kari), Sandy (Dan); 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by wife, Phyllis; seven brothers, and three sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at
Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA. Concluding services and
interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee, WA. Following,
there will be an informal gathering at the Wenatchee Eagles to celebrate John.
