Gregory Logsdon Obituary

Greg was born on March 12, 1950, to Herb and Jean Logsdon in Wenatchee, WA. He died suddenly on October 23, 2016. He was 66 years old. Greg was a lifelong Wenatchee Valley resident, graduating from Eastmont High School in 1968. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army serving in Germany in the 3rd Armored Division. Upon his discharge, he returned to Wenatchee, where he served as a volunteer firefighter for Douglas County Fire District #2 and attended Wenatchee Valley College, earning a degree in Agriculture. He was an orchardist and ran the family apple orchard in East Wenatchee. Greg enjoyed playing with his many nieces and nephews and his great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herb, in 2011. He is survived by his mother, Jean L. Logsdon of East Wenatchee; brother, Daniel Logsdon (Jean) of Wenatchee; and his sister, Deborah Black (John) of East Wenatchee; three nieces; four nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. (Noon) on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee. A private family interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Donations may be made in Greg’s name to the Salvation Army. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
