Cheryl Lynn Tolliver-Jones, 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on October 10, 2016 in Everett, WA. Cheryl was born July 23, 1951, to James and Ruth Tolliver. She attended Wenatchee Schools and graduated in 1970. After graduation, she met and married David Jones. Together, they lived in Wenatchee, Texas and Kansas before making their way back to Wenatchee. Though Cheryl was never blessed with children of her own, she was loved and called “mom” by many children who came through her door. Cheryl enjoyed many hobbies including singing, writing and baking. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Nothing made her happier than baking and cooking for the holidays. Life was not always easy for Cheryl, but she persevered with a strong spirit and an unshakeable faith in God, her personal savior. Her later years were spent in Monroe, WA, and most recently, in Arlington, WA. In Arlington, she had made many new friends and enjoyed various crafts and games, and an active social life. On Sundays, she could be found rooting for her favorite team, the Seahawks. Cheryl will be missed by all who loved her, but we know she is now pain free and resting in the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Tolliver and Ruth and Bud Smart; and her husband, David Jones. She is survived by her dear friend, Deanna Hammans ;siblings: Dennis and Kathie Tolliver, James and Tanya Tolliver, David and Melissa Tolliver, Tracy and Robin Kansky, Corky Smart and Daniel Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.
