Scott Howarth Obituary

Scott Roger Howarth was born in Shelton, WA on February 14, 1953 to Julian Roger Howarth and Shirley Bailey Howarth. He passed away on August 26, 2016 at the age of 63. He grew up in McCleary, WA and graduated from Elma High School in 1971. Scotty really was a friend to all! He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to fish and hunt, made many fishing rods and lures, and he usually got his deer and elk! He started hunting with his father and brothers, and later with his best friend Mark Larson. Scott worked in the logging industry in many capacities, the last one was with NDC. He also was a volunteer fireman and EMT with the ambulance during the car races at the fairgrounds. Scott is survived by his mother Shirley in Olympia, WA; daughter Cheryl Wibbenmeyer (Dan), granddaughters Cheyenne and Charlotte; sister Roxanne Calvert (Billy), and children, sister in law Linda Howarth and children; brother Greg Howarth (Carol). He was preceded in death by his father Julian and his brother Matt. The Celebration of Life will be held on October 1, 2016 1-4 pm at the McCleary, WA VFW Hall. A donation in his name may be made to a charity of your choice.
