Lifelong Grays Harbor resident Mary Ellen (Conway) Pellervo, 89, passed away peacefully at Grays Harbor Health and Rehab on Friday, August 19, 2016 with her family at her bedside. Mary was born December 31, 1926 in Aberdeen, Wash. to John and Emma (Beebe) Conway. She was raised in Wishkah and graduated from Wishkah Valley High School. Before she retired Mary had worked as a CNA. She loved taking care of her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her loving family, sons Herb and Lonnie (Deanna) Courts and daughter Debbie (Courts) Simpson all of Hoquiam; sisters, Beebe Scott and Patsy (Dennis) Rose both of Aberdeen; brothers Robert (Judy) of Oregon, Ron (Lucille) Conway of Hoquiam; Lorn (Loretta) Conway and James Conway of Aberdeen; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Bill Courts, brother Floyd Conway and grandson Christopher Courts. A celebration of life and potluck will take place from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th at the Hoquiam Elks.
