Lynn Weeks Hall of Aberdeen passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 71. Lynn was born June 12, 1945 in Compton, Calif. to Lawrence and Helen (Weeks) Hall. He was raised in Compton and Fairfield and had also lived in Reno before moving to Grays Harbor in 1994. Lynn proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a corrections officer for the California Dept. of Corrections for many years. He enjoyed restoring old cars and going to auctions, and was a past member of the Push-Rods car club. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and his previous wife of 36 years Ruby Hall; two sons John and Don VanGundy; his three brothers and his sisters Phyllis and Jean. On December 18, 2014 Lynn married his best friend Colleen M. Devine; she survives him at the family home. I addition to his loving wife Colleen, he is also survived by sons David (Deidra) Erwin of Reno, NV and James (Angie) Hall of Michigan; daughters Julie (David) Fleetwood of Aberdeen and Barbara (Gilbert) Feliu of Fresno, Calif.; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9th at the Montesano Church of God.
