Thelma E. Hannas, 87, died Monday August 15, 2016 at her home in Martinsburg, WV. She was born May 4, 1929 in Shanks, West Virginia; the daughter of Esten and Bessie Grady Haines. She was a member of Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church. She retired from Winchester Medical Center as an admissions clerk. Thelma married James Vernon Hannas August 8, 1945 in Oakland, MD. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hannas and a grandson, Travis Allen Fellers both of Martinsburg. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, VA. A funeral will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Farel officiating. Entombment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
