Judy Hamilton

Judy W. Hamilton, 57, of Gore, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Hamilton was born June 10, 1959 in Front Royal; the daughter of Junior Lee Wheeling and Strawberry Frances Smoot. She was a seamstress. She had made 547 hats as a member of the Chemo Granny’s Group. She married Roger D. Hamilton, Sr. on July 20, 2001. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Christina Dicks of Stephens City, Robert Graham, III of Gore and Donald Graham of West Virginia; one step son, Roger Hamilton, Jr. of Chincoteague Island, VA; her sister, Rebecca Quiros of Strasburg; her brothers, Danny Wheeling of Clear Brook, and Jesse Wheeling of North Carolina; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Wheeling and Joey Wheeling. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Pat Lockwood and Jeri Strowbridge officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
