Floyd W. Ebersole, 69, of Winchester, died Monday, July 11, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Ebersole was born June 9, 1947 in Frederick County; the son of Alvia Floyd Ebersole and Ruth Allen Ebersole. He retired after working 43 years in nutrition services with Winchester Medical Center. He was a member of Montague Avenue United Methodist Church, Millwood Station Fire and Rescue Auxiliary, and a member of Winchester Moose, until his health declined. His love for the Lord was profound, leading many friends to Christ in a subtle way. He is survived by one sister JoAnn Ebersole, and was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Allen. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow at Macedonia Memorial Cemetery. In memory of Floyd’s generosity and love, any memorial contributions to a charity of your choice, would be a kind and appreciated gesture.
