Ada Lewis

Ada Jean Lewis, 93, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Front Royal, VA. Mrs. Lewis was born December 3, 1922, the daughter of the late August Karl Becker and Rose Marie Young Becker. Jean served in United States Navy where she met her husband, who also served. She married William Howard Lewis on February 16, 1945 in Washington D.C. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Woodstock United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Lewis Deskins (Ronald) of Mt. Jackson; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Along with her parents Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Lewis; her son, James Carey Lewis; a brother, and one grandchild. Services will be private at a later date.
