Regina McCowan Williams, 45, of Dante, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2016. Born on December 15, 1970, in Bristol, Tenn., she was the daughter of Darrell McCowan and the late Mary Kiser McCowan. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juanita and Fred Meade.

Survivors include her daughter, Natasha Chanter Fields and husband Daniel; grandchildren, Charity and Jasmine Fields; father, Darrell McCowan; sister, Sherrie Phillips; niece, Amaris Phillips; nephew, Isiah Phillips; great-niece, Graceyn Phillips and special friend, Julie Wagonblott.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Edith Steffey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
