Earl Gene Crabtree

Earl Gene Crabtree, 57, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away on, Sunday, April 24, 2016. Born in Richlands, Va., on April 1, 1959, he was the son of Willis Gene Crabtree and Shirley Faye Artrip Crabtree. He was preceded in death by an infant grandchild, Baby Crabtree.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda Crabtree; daughter, Lindsay Steele and husband, Eric; sons, Andy Crabtree and wife, Stacie, Joey Crabtree and wife, Katie, and Wesley Crabtree and wife, Brittany; parents, Willis and Shirley Crabtree; sisters, Regina Scyphers and Cathy Tiller; 16 grandchildren; step-daughter, Lynette Bush and step-son, Tyler Howe.

Pallbearers will be Joey Crabtree, Wesley Crabtree, Andy Crabtree, Eric Steele, B.J. Scyphers, Matthew Scyphers, Jason Yates, and Aaron Ferguson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Frank Hurd officiating. Interment will follow in the Crabtree Family Cemetery in the Hansonville section of Lebanon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the funeral home after 6 p.m.
