Jeanne Hensler

Jeanne M. Hensler, 94, of Kilmarnock, Virginia passed away on July 14, 2016. She was born on October 27, 1921 in New York City. She married Raymond L. Hensler on February 12, 1946. They raised their three children in Rumson, N. J., Stevens Point, Wis. and Midlothian, Va. They retired to the Northern Neck to Wicomico Church, Va. in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hensler; two sons, Peter Hensler (Etta) and David Hensler (Robin); five grandchildren, Jeanna, Joe, Lindsey, Travis and Heath Hensler and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond. L. Hensler. Mrs. Hensler was a member of Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club and a volunteer for Historic Christ Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf and she was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She dearly loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Historic Christ Church Burying Ground. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Neck Free Health Clinic, P. O. Box 1694, Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
