Daniel B. Lawrence, DDS, 66, of Warsaw, Virginia passed away on October 4, 2016 of cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh W. Lawrence and Eula Lane Lawrence. Dr. Lawrence grew up in White House, Tennessee and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He received his professional degree in dentistry from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Lawrence retired in 2011 from the Three Rivers Health District after more than 30 years of providing pediatric dental services at schools in all four counties of the Northern Neck. During his career, he served on the Board of Directors for the Rappahannock Area Health Education Center, one term as Chair. He also served for many years as the medical/dental consultant to the Northern Neck Head Start Advisory Board. He traveled extensively and was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. More recently, he was an active member of the Northern Neck Extension Master Gardeners. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
