Robert James Crites Robert James Crites, 72, of Kingsport, TN passed away at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Mr. Crites was born on May 5, 1944 to the late Dorothy Rhinehart in Ravenna, OH. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Patty and Debbie. He is survived by his children; Robert Evans, Keith Evans, Paul Evans, Michelle Evans, Kristen Hayes Mowell, Patricia Hayes, Jonnie Hayes, Billy Joe Ramey and Gabriel Stowe; siblings; Margie, Chuck, Jackie, Pam, Jim, and Gail and grandchildren; Lakyn Hayes, Matthew Mowell, Grace Mowell, Kylie Shields, Drake Shields, and Cooper Rollins He is also survived by the special lady who gave him his girls, Ann Crites and the fathers of his grandchildren; Timothy Mowell, Brian Shields, and Corey Rollins; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. It was the wishes of Mr. Crites to be cremated. The family will hold a fellowship gathering to celebrate the life of Mr. Crites from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, in the Juanita S. Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home. There will be an online guest register for the Crites family at www.gatecityfunerals.com.
