Kathy Lynn Begley-Ft. Blackmore, VA Kathy Lynn Begley, 57, Ft. Blackmore passed away on October 10, 2016 at her residence. Kathy was born in Wise Co., VA on May 6, 1959 to the late Marshall and Audrey Sexton. Preceding her in death is a sister, Emma Gibson and brother, Shaylor Sexton. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lester “Foot” Begley, Ft. Blackmore; children, Stephanie Begley, Duffield, VA, Marie Lane and husband, Jimmy, Nickelsville, VA, Maggie Dorton and husband, Michael, Gate City, VA, Kenneth Begley and wife, Holly, Ft. Blackmore, VA, and Joshua Begley, Ft. Blackmore, VA; grandchildren, John Lane, Brett Lane, Isabella Begley, Luke Begley, Kenny Begley, Grace Begley, and Hagan Dorton, sisters and brothers, Shirley Gibson and late husband, Bob, Blackstone, VA, Barbara Johnson and husband, Jim, Surgionsville, TN, Alonzo Sexton and wife, Rose Mary, Weber City, VA, Loraine Darnell and husband, Howard, Dungannon, VA, David Sexton, Flatwoods, VA, Patricia Begley and late husband, Larry, Nickelsville, VA, Richard Sexton and wife, Ethel, Ft. Blackmore, Homer Sexton and wife, Bonnie, Flatwoods, VA, Elsie Baker and husband, John, Flatwoods, VA, Elmer Sexton and wife, Kendra, Ft. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy Darnell and Rev. Danny Darnell officiating. James “Babe” Lawson, Homer “Toke” Hensley, and Jordan Mathes will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a. m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Begley Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore VA. Greg Dockery, Tony Gibson, Jeremy Gibson, B. J. Sexton, Joey Begley and Robbie Gibson will serve as pallbearers. David Mann, Gilbert Begley, Danny Anderson, Mickey Lane and Jeb Akers will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a. m., Thursday to go in procession to the graveside service.
