Katie Sybil Clark, 99, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Andrews, Texas. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the Andrews Old Cemetery with pastor Glenn Hammack officiating. Services are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com Sybil was born on September 2, 1919 in Hopkins County, Texas to Rev. C.D. “Clyde” and Susie Mable Potts Fitzgerald. Sybil’s father was a minister with the Church of God, she grew up and attended the Church of God most of her life. She married R.V. Perkins, he passed away on May 4, 1979. Sybil married Jessie Clark in Lovington, New Mexico. She enjoyed Country music and loved to dance. Sybil enjoyed cooking for her children and grandchildren, they all loved to go to her home to enjoy her good food. She liked going to the mountains, especially Ruidoso, New Mexico. Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, R.V. Perkins and Jessie Clark, son, Doyce Perkins, step-daughter daughter Katie Clark, brother Delmer Fitzgerald and sister Avis McCoy. Sybil is survived by, son Danny Perkins and wife Kim of Springtown, Texas, daughters, Laneita Bingham and husband Bobby of Midland, Texas, Sharon Walker and husband David of Andrews, Texas; step-children Calvin Clark, Brett Clark and Becky Clark Hazlett, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
