NORMA LISA HERNANDEZ DONNA/EDINBURG – Norma Lisa Hernandez, 44, died Friday, May 13, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born and raised in Edinburg, she had lived in Donna for four years. Norma was a beautiful person with an infectious laughter who loved her sons and her husband – the love of her life. She was a Dallas Cowboys fanatic, loved bbq ribs and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Hernandez Jr.; and maternal grandparents, Ramiro and Aida Cardenas. Norma is survived by her husband, Gilbert Bustamante Jr. of Donna; two children, David Michael Tharp III of Clarksville, Marc Anthony Laca of Donna; her parents, Raul and Diana Cantu of Edinburg; her brother, Rick (Andrea “Poppy”) Hernandez of Dripping Springs; a niece, Lyda Lea Licciardello; her in-laws, Gilbert Sr. and Gloria Bustamante of Donna; her best friend, Elisa Vela of Edinburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service Monday, May 16, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
