Yolanda Bustamante, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her home in Nixon. She was born in Nixon on December 27, 1957. Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Onecima Tamez Bustamante; two sisters: Leticia Gaytan and Beatrice Garza; a granddaughter, Marcela Rodriguez; and her former husband, Frank Martinez, Jr. She is survived by her children: Melissa Martinez (Francisco Rodriguez), Rebecca LaFleur (Justin), Joseph Martinez (Jennifer), Michael Martinez (Brittany Hernandez); grandchildren: Devon, Dylan, Derek, Jaelyn, Caden, Noe, Natalie, and Kayleen; her siblings: Albert Bustamante (Cecelia), Adri Boatright (Danny), Ernie Bustamante (Mollie), De Walker (Jason), Marla Kinnison (Shawn Sudbury), Richard Bustamante, Jr.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many friends. A Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon. Interment will follow at the Nixon Latin American Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
