Robert (Bobby) Claar was born to Doris and Herbert Claar in Pennsylvania on November 11, 1931. He went peacefully in his sleep to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Bobby joined the Air Force at the young age of seventeen and served our nation as a tech sergeant, with the job of telegraph operator in three different wars for over twenty-two years. Bobby is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Dorothy Claar. Bobby and Doris were married for over sixty years. His parents, Doris and Herbert Claar also predeceased Bobby. Bobby had no siblings or children. He will be truly missed in many ways, his smile, his humor and his unending generosity. Bobby is gone from our sight but not from our hearts.
