Horace Ralph Smith, Jr. passed away on October 26, 2016 in Seguin, Texas at the age of 88. Horace was born on May 5, 1928 in Brunswick, Georgia to Horace Ralph Smith and Mable Ella (Ford) Smith. Horace is preceded in death by his parents and six sisters. He is survived by his brother, Benjamin J.W. Smith and wife Laverne; nephews, Carl Dulaney and wife Sharon, Benjamin Decker Smith and wife Charla, Christian F. Smith, Mark Smith, Glenn McCuen, Mark McCuen, William Petree, and Roy Petree; nieces, Pamela McCuen Ellisor, Carol Steel, and Patricia McCuen. A visitation will be held on October 29, 2016 from 1:00om-2:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas. Funeral Service Saturday, October 29, 2016 2:00pm Finch Funeral Chapel La Vernia, Texas Interment will follow at Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia, Texas.
