Jimmie Lee Humble, Texas Obituary

Jimmie Lee

Our beloved Mom & Mimi, Jimmie Louise Lee, went to be with our Lord on August 29th, 2016. Jimmie was born in 1930 in Waco, Texas and her parents were Jim Arendal & Thelma Pearson Arendal. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, son David, great-granddaughter Gracie Lee Graham, daughter-in-law Francis Lee and sister Barbara Wilson. Also her mother-in-law Nettie Jane Turner and sister-in-law Darla Jean Turner and her best friend Jeanne Goss. And then Herbert, who she was married to for 28 years and even though no longer married to him, she still loved him dearly. Jimmie graduated from Aldine High School, class of 1948. She was a cheerleader in high school and earned the nick name "Cricket" from her classmates because she jumped up and down so much while cheering at the Mustangs football and basketball games. After graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Herbert Lee, and they had four children, David, Anita, Clay & Kirby. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Anita & Jim Harrison, sons Clay & Kirby Lee, grand children, Kelli Graham, Kati Harrison, Christopher Lee & Jennifer Lee Mooney and her grand dogs Rudy & Truck, and her great grandchildren: Addison, KatiBeth, Tripp, Hunter, Ainsley, Ethan, Paris, Bryson & her great-granddogs, JoJo & Marley. Sister-in-law Judy Lee, sisters Bill Patzakis & Sandra Glatter, brother in law Dickie Turner & his wife Mindy and their children Dustin & Hailey and her husband Ronnie and their children Hagan & River. She is also survived by a large extended family. Anita's life long friends Vicki, Carol & Nellene are the sisters she never had and Jimmie considered these three like her daughters. So therefore, she is also survived by Vicki & Mack Smith and their children Jon & Jason & his wife Jennifer and their children Makayla & Mikah, Nellene Harvey and her children Jeff & wife Kim and their children Mason & Ty and Kaci Woodrome & husband Jeremy and their children Kinley & Josie, and Carol Plaag & husband James and their son Cameron. She always said that you don't have to be blood related to be family and she considered this crew to be her family. To them she was either their Aunt Jimmie or Mimi. She loved all of her "kids" and loved being with them as much as she could. We will all cherish our memories of the trips to the beach, trips to Garner, her getting in to a disguise and hauling Anita & her friends around in the back of the station wagon to throw water balloons on Halloween night, hauling kids to football games and track meets, slumber parties at the old El Dorado Country Club and how you could make an awesome meal out of nothing. We are going to miss you so much, but we are happy knowing that you are no longer suffering and in pain and that you are singing with the angels and that you have Gracie in your lap and are rocking her and singing "I love you a bushel and a peck" to her and then laughing again with your beloved David and sister Barbara & Francie. You are loved more than you will ever know.......
