Services for April Renee Brister Harris, 32, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 pm., Monday, October 24, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Starr Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. April passed away October 19, 2016, in Grand Saline. She was born November 6, 1983, in Wichita Falls. April spent most all of her life in Grand Saline where she graduated from GSHS, Class of 2002. She had worked at Don's Dairy Bar for 14 years and was attending Tyler Junior College. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jesse O. Brister, and Joe Ward. Survivors include her mother, Rhonda Ellis and husband Donald of Grand Saline; father, Larry Brister and wife Doris McCandless of Wichita Falls; grandmother, Mary Humphreys of Grand Saline; son, Jace Lee Thompson of Grand Saline; daughter, Kelli Rae-Ann Harris of Grand Saline; two brothers, Christopher Brister and wife Becky of Grand Saline and Jesse Brister of Grand Saline; sister, Jessica Emmons and wife Candice of Grand Saline; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Buddy Lambert, James Russell Brand, Jackie Gipson, Chris Brister, Jesse Brister and Kris Chelette. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
