ARLINGTON -- Robert H. "Bob" Anderson, 86, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Arlington. Memorial Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Bob was born on January 19, 1930 in Canton, OH to John Ray Anderson and Ethel Marie Nolle Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bob received a bachelor's degree from The University of Cincinnatti. He worked as an aeronautical engineer for Grumman Aircraft. Bob enjoyed THAMH Fitness Center and was a member of Arlington Duplicate Bridge Club. He was known to many as "Bicycle Bob". He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Anderson; and sister, Nancy Anderson. Survivors: Wife, Rachel Pickett Anderson; daughter, Kaye Anderson Davis (Ken) of Leesburg, VA; son, Steve Anderson (Lorrie) of Heber City, UT; brother, David Anderson (Lynn) of Huntington Beach, CA; grandchildren, Rachel Broadley, Josh Weenig, Stephen Anderson, Sarah Shuck, Deborah Moosman, Ben Anderson and Anna Anderson; great-grandchildren, Becca Weenig, Tori Broadley, Scarlett Anderson, Oliver Anderson, Violet Broadley and Emma Shuck.
