GRAND PRAIRIE -- Arthur George Gebhardt, 57 passed away on October 3rd, 2016 surrounded by his family and jammin' out to Beatles music as he entered into Heaven. Arthur was born on March 10th, 1959 in Long Beach, CA and moved to Texas when he was 12. He was proud of many things: his German heritage, his degree from Dallas Baptist University, but most of all his three children. He was a man of many talents especially cooking and woodworking. Arthur had a great love for all animals. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Henry Gebhardt and mother, Elizabeth Pauline Gebhardt. Those left to treasure his memories are his sons; Matthew and his wife Liz, and Shawn; his daughter, Elizabeth "Biffy"; his three German Shepherds, and many grand dogs and cats; brother-in-law, Don Hawkins (who was his father figure) and his wife Anna; sister, Kathy Riney; nieces, Pamela Kalthoff and her daughter, Brooke and Kimberly Hawkins and her daughter, Elizabeth.
