Ruby Waldine Boswell October 16, 1922 ~ October 15, 2016 Ruby Waldine Boswell, 93, of Angleton, Texas passed away one day shy of her 94th birthday in Lake Jackson, Texas with her family by her side. She was born on October 16, 1922 in Jonesboro, Texas to Robert Lee and Minnie Louise (Farquhar) Whisenhunt. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Tuesday evening after the services from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. There will be a second service scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Turnersville Community Center located at 8115 FM 182 Gatesville, Texas. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation starting at 12:00 until services time. Burial will immediately follow in the Turnersville Cemetery. Left to cherish the memory of Waldine is her husband of 72 years, Charlie Ray Boswell, her children; Charlie Wayne Boswell, and Monta Cothron (husband, W.A. Mickey” Cothron), her sister, Wilda Louise Jackson, her grandchildren; Jimmy Wayne Boswell (wife, Christy), Shay Boswell, Kristi Boswell, Mickye Wilson (husband, Pat) and Jullye Lashlee (husband, Joey.) She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters; Robbie Morton amd Imogene Chauvin. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Granny and Granny Great to her family. During the war, Waldine worked in an ammunition plant in Houma, Louisiana. She loved to crochet and work on needle crafts. Waldine spent many hours sewing for the Dow employees and general public. She enjoyed gardening in spare time and play many rounds of golf with her beloved Charlie.
