LaJanice Privette

LaJanice Privette joined her Heavenly Father Monday, July 18, 2016 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. LaJanice was the oldest of four girls born to Fannie Lee Bobbitt Privette and Russell Privette in Somerville, Tennessee on March 26, 1945. She will be joining her father, brother-in-laws Wilbur Hobbs and Thomas Grogan and niece Lauren Hayslip. She lived in Angleton and worked at BayStar Group of Angleton after retiring from Harris County. LaJanice was devout in her faith and attended Northway Baptist Church where she especially enjoyed her Women’s Bible Class. She was unwavering in her conservative life views and loved her country. LaJanice was devoted to her family and made sure that if she could do anything to help, she would be there. LaJanice attended Odessa High School and University of Houston. After retiring in 2004 from Harris County she joined her sister, Kaye Starustka at BayStar Group as her accountant. To make the sibling group complete, she was joined by her other two sisters, Annita Hobbs of Lake Jackson and Lovey Grogan of Charlotte, NC, followed her brother-in-law Thomas Starustka. LaJanice enjoyed the last twelve years working with her family and taking girl trips with them and her mother. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 21, 2016 at Northway Baptist Church in Angleton with visitation at Northway Baptist from 12 until service time. A private family graveside will follow. Pallbearers will be Tom Starustka, Charles Hobb, Sean Schobel, Stephanie Grisham, Kimberly Heckler and Tina Schobel.
